Overview of the Home & School Committee

The Home and School Association is an independent body that organizes volunteers and raises funds to supplement the school budget and to enhance school programs. Home and School members decide how the funds will be spent within the school programs. As part of the network of Quebec and Canadian Home and School Associations, we get advice, ideas on fundraising and liability insurance for each member.

The Home and School Association organizes and funds:

Pizza lunch
Parent workshops and conferences
Christmas Baskets
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
Library Books and Equipment
Computers
Music Programs and Equipment
End of the School Year Party
Annual Fair / Bazaar

The Home and School Association extends an open invitation to parents, staff and other interested members of the Dorval Elementary Community.

We meet every second Wednesday of the month, unless otherwise notified. The agenda will be circulated via e-mail, to members, one week prior to the meetings.
