About us
Our school was founded in 2006 through the merger of two former Dorval school communities: St. Veronica and Courtland Park. Dorval Elementary is surrounded by both asphalted and grass covered areas and is adjacent to a public park. We are fortunate to be so close to a soccer field (skating rink in the winter), a basketball court and the city of Dorval play equipment. Dorval Elementary is truly a community school!
Our staff, parents, and community members, work together to help foster a well-balanced education for our students. We offer an extensive Music and Band Program. The Fall of 2019 we opened ‘Le Lab’, a place and time for students to create, tinker, learn how to do something new, be challenged, have fun, explore, problem solve, imagine, build, draw, write, make, work with their hands, think critically, be persistent, make real-world connections, and use technology. This innovative class includes aspects of arts, media, science, language arts, and technology.

At Dorval Elementary, we foster the academic and personal growth of each child in a safe and respectful environment. We promote a collaborative relationship among students, staff and parents. We strive to connect with our community, cultivate responsible citizenship and raise each child’s global awareness.
